It’s been quite the award season at Onfido. Earlier this week, we announced being featured in the 2020 CB Insights Fintech 250 List of Fastest-Growing Fintech Startups, and prior to that – listed as one of Europe’s Fastest Growing Tech Companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™. Today, we’re pleased to be recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the fastest growing private companies in the UK, ranking 32 out of 100.
The 20th annual Sunday Times Sage Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s private technology, media and telecoms (TMT) companies with the fastest-growing sales. The 100 companies increased their sales on average over the last three years by 94% a year to a total of £2.8bn, before the Covid-crisis struck. They employ 21,500 staff, having added 16,000 employees over the period; and at least 50 of the companies have increased their workforce since March 2020.
“It’s an honour to be recognised by the Sunday Times as one of the fastest growing private companies,” said Husayn Kassai, CEO and Co-founder at Onfido. “We’re pleased to be named alongside so many of our partners including Revolut, Football Index and GoCardless. It’s clear that there has never been a time where digital access is needed more than now. Where physical access is particularly challenging, online identification verification helps businesses to continue operating online and at scale. From financial services, online healthcare and trust marketplaces, to self-check-ins at airports, hotels and car rentals, we’re creating a more open world where identity is the key to access.”
