Let’s take a look at how Salesforce users can confirm new users’ identities with a no-code workflow builder for secure customer onboarding. With Onfido, you can give new customers easy access to your products and services by quickly and securely verifying their identity.

As our Salesforce administrator, you can log into the system and define a new onboarding flow for your end-user in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Scripts.

In this particular example, you define an onboarding flow that captures primary information, gains access to identity information, such as address, and check your user's identity using the Onfido integration procedures of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.

Here we are using a specific Onfido verification flow, called flow 2. An Onfido verification flow is uniquely identified by an Onfido workflow_id.

Your Onfido workflow_id is created in Onfido Studio. Let’s have a closer look at the Onfido Studio workflow builder.

Using Studio, you can orchestrate verification journeys that combine document and biometric verification, trusted data sources, and passive fraud detection signals to build the right level of trust in your customer at the right moment. No code required.

With Onfido Studio, you can either create a new version of your workflow or you can create a workflow from an existing template. Since you’re interested in a document + biometric verification, the “Document + Motion” template works for your specific case.

Your end-user would provide their profile data, their document, and an image capture of their face. Once they submit, a document and a face similarity report is generated.

If the document and similarity report are clear, it’s approved! Otherwise, it’s flagged for you to review and consider.

Finally, you can link your custom identity check workflow into Salesforce by copying the worfklow_id and pasting it into the Custom metadata.
